Metrocat 2015 Recap

We had a 3 in 1 event last Saturday held at Big Bad Wolf, Burgos Circle BGC. First was the Metrocat 2015 Presented By State Bicycle Co. Philippines, a seven checkpoint alleycat race that ran from Pasig to Pasay which was won by Vincent "Sok" Palisoc.

Afterwards, we celebrated Built Cycle's 3rd year anniversary, lots of food, booze and great music. Highlight of which was the raffle draw for a brand new bike from State Bicycle Co. Philippines(shown above), which was won by Reijie Fabian.

Lastly, the MFG/WeFXD BRKLSS Japan Tour Video premiere, this video gave me goosebump. it was just awe inspiring. Keep an eye out for the video online release in a couple of days.

The Fixed and the Furious

A fixed-gear bicycle (or fixed-wheel bicycle, commonly known in some places as a fixie[1]) is a bicycle that has a drivetrain with no freewheel mechanism. The freewheel was developed early in the history of bicycle design but the fixed-gear bicycle remained the standard track racing design. More recently the "fixie" has become a popular alternative among mainly urban cyclists, offering the advantage of simplicity compared with the standard multi-geared bicycle. - Wikipedia
